Going slow to go fast, the strategy of our mechanical assembly with Mauro Marca

Thoroughness and attention to detail: the secret to maximising the speed of our lines.

Going slow to go fast, the strategy of our mechanical assembly with Mauro Marca

It was 18 July 1988 when, two weeks after finishing his studies, Mauro Marca joined Storti.

From that day on, he grew up doing different jobs: he used saws and machine tools, worked on cutting and then moved to our assembly department.

Thanks to his experience within the company, he is now responsible for mechanical assembly together with his colleague Matteo Rubes.

The point of arrival is just another point of departure

Over the years, Storti has gradually increased its production capacity, significantly expanded its premises, won new customers and achieved new results.

Mauro has seen the company grow. When he started his career, his department had quite different numbers. Today, the workforce has tripled and every day represents a new challenge. This is the driver that enables us to channel our skills and improve in our own small way and in the global Storti world.

The secret to producing fast machines? Go slow.

Every single component of our lines is assembled in-house. We work with care and precision during all stages, from assembly to disassembly, shipment and installation at the customer's premises.

The aim is to maintain consistently high quality and performance standards in order to guarantee fast machines. The turning point for Mauro is precisely this:

"Quality always wins out over speed. To make a machine that goes fast, you have to work slowly. And the end product is excellent. Guaranteed."
